To ensure the highest standard of safety and care for the families we support, all applicants must possess:

Professional fluency in English. Fluency in other languages considered a major asset
Education:
Valid Ontario PSW Certificate (or equivalent formal healthcare training).
Experience:
Previous experience as a PSW or health care worker in Long-term Care or Home Care Services.
Anyone applying for a position at Serenity is also expected to have:
Certification: Current CPR/First Aid certification.
Security: A current, clear Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC).
Compliance: Up-to-date WSIB coverage or compliance clearance.
Professional Affiliations:
Active registration/membership with the Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) and/or the Ontario Personal Support Workers Association (OPSWA) preferred.
